I put this
chart together in 2017 to show the effects of sin that leads to sickness and
disease. We must consider how much sin
affects our body, soul, and our spirit. A
key point to consider with the chart is how many of these have caused deep
physical, emotional, or spiritual pain, hardship, and oppression that have
affected you physical, emotional, and your spiritual health?
Our body is
a responder to who we are in thought. It
is referred to as the mind-body connection.
It affects our health physically, mentally and spiritual well-being.
Sinful thoughts and actions will produce sickness and disease.
Thoughts
come from three places
1. Our
thoughts
2. Thoughts from God
3. Thoughts
from Satan
Most of our
thoughts come from ourselves and Satan.
Most of us don’t hear from God as much because God is not the center of
our mind, body, and soul. Compare your
time with the world and time with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and His Word.
We Need
the Helper
God sent us
a Helper when Jesus went to be with His Father. John 14:16, 26 And I will
pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with
you forever— But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He
will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said
to you. We need the Helper to show us what we
do not know, Luke 23:34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do
not know what they do.” Are we calling
on the Holy Spirit throughout the day to spiritually navigate this world with divine
guidance so we can live a faithful and healthy life?
We will
continue to be sick and diseased until we understand that effective prayer can
and will heal us if we make ourselves available for prayer. Confess your trespasses to one another,
and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent
prayer of a righteous man avails much James 5:16. Is this scripture an
option for us to ignore? Why are we not praying for each other so that we can
be healed. The Bible promises healing
for all……..IF we pray to cast out evil spirits causing sickness and disease. I don’t understand why the body of Jesus Christ
are afraid of demon spirits or the mention of demons whose sole purpose is to kill
us. Shouldn’t we mirror Jesus who cast out many demons and healed many people. Nothing has changed in the here and now. We
have power and authority to do what Jesus did in His ministry.
Tidbit –
There is always one primary disease or syndrome; the rest are peripheral. You will never defeat a secondary illness if
you don’t defeat the primary illness that spawns the others. Example: When an
unloving spirit enters a person, it will eventually produce rejection, anger,
resentment, bitterness, hatred, unforgiveness, and can lead to addictions. Addictions are an attempt to fill the
unloving void in a person. Unloving is
primary evil spirit and the rest are peripheral evil spirts that need to be prayed
out as well.
In ministry,
we ask many questions to determine the primary and peripheral riders so we can
pray effectively to deliver them from bondage.
We cannot be healed if we only pray for one out of the many that need to
be prayed away.
Folks, these
are things we need to hear! We’re so
busy chasing symptoms, we are so busy chasing disease profiles, that we don’t
even take into account why we got sick to begin with or how we can get better. Science and doctors don’t have the foggiest
idea. TS 8-26-26
