The Bible is very clear in that our battle is not against flesh and blood: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12.
Our war is not with others. Our war is not even within ourselves. Our war is with a hidden and evil kingdom
filled with principalities, powers, the ruler of the darkness of this world,
and spiritual wickedness in high places.
That is our war. Just like Adam
and Eve, our war is with an enemy who wants to form you into his image, but that
image is the image of death. Christ’s
image is the image of life. The image of
death is what Adam and Eve embraced. It
is the same image of death we have embraced.
We must change this to embracing the image of life.
Hosea 4:6
says: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have
rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because
you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. We have learned that God wasn’t speaking
just to the Old Testament saints in this verse. Is this the same lack of
knowledge in the modern church? Our
sicknesses and diseases are a result not having the knowledge to overcome
sickness and disease with prayer. We must confess our sins daily and asking God
to forgive us for our sins so we can be healed. Confess your trespasses to
one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective,
fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, James 5:16.
We lack the knowledge of spiritual warfare as a
body of Jesus Christ. The spiritual
world is a place where intelligent beings exist that do not have bodies in the
physical sense. There are two parts of
this invisible world with two kingdoms.
There is the part that Father God rules, which is the kingdom of God in
heaven. Heaven is a dimension, just on
the other side of what we can’t see, but is ever present in our lives.
The other kingdom is the spirit world that is
inhabited by fallen beings that are ruled by ex-archangel Lucifer, also called
Satan. This kingdom is clearly identified in the Bible. Jesus’ spoke of it on more than one
occasion. If Satan casts out Satan,
he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? Matthew 12:26. The
apostles Paul spoke of it as well in Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us
from the power (kingdom) of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of
the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the
forgiveness of sins. As the Body of Jesus Christ, we must understand the
warfare between these two kingdoms. In
the military, soldiers are trained for combat.
They are trained to know their enemy and to utilize the weapons and
tactics needed to defeat their enemy. The
problem is that much of the Christian church is in the dark ages when it comes
to understand the spiritual attacks from Satan and his fallen angels who are
evil spirits or demons as described in Mark 16:17 17 And these signs will
follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons. Why are we afraid of saying the word
demons? Why are we afraid to cast out demons as Jesus did? The church doesn’t understand or teach
spiritual warfare. Most churches don’t
teach how to resist the devil other than to recite James 4:7 Therefore
submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. We don’t know how to resist the
devil! We resist the devil by effective
spiritual warfare prayer in the name of Jesus.
We don’t understand spiritual warfare and how to
pray. We have become victims of our
ignorance resulting in sin that leads to sickness and disease at the physical
and emotional level.
Anti – means to oppose to, against, or opposite
in kind, position, or action.
If God, in His Word instructs us on what to do
and we ignore God, we become Anti. If we ignore what Jesus commanded us
to do in Mark 16:15-18 we become Anti. We become anti-God and anti-Christ because
we don’t believe what God and Jesus instructs us to do. We don’t believe we can
be healed through effective prayer so we go to doctors who can’t heal. I am not
against doctors, but they only treat the symptoms. God wants us to treat what causes the
symptoms with prayer. Amen?
- 1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and
as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists
have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
- 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus
is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
- 1 John 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess
that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the
spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now
already in the world.
- 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the
world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a
deceiver and an antichrist.
The term "Antichrist" refers to an
entity or spirit that opposes Jesus Christ.
Opposition compromises our spiritual belief in God, Jesus, and the Holly
Spirit.
There are over three thousand documented
sicknesses and diseases. God promises
healing if we pray. Why do we refuse to
pray for one another so that we can be healed?
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another,
that you may be healed James 5:16.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life John 3:16. Why
