10-11-14
About three or four weeks I ago I received a word and
recently I shared it with my wife. It
goes something like this: In these
last days, there will be a wickedness so evil that mankind will not be able to
comprehend it because mankind has not seen or experienced it in this present
age. Nor will they know how to battle it because we are not prepared.
This past week, I received an email encouraging me to view a
couple of telecasts on 9-19 and 9-23 from Rick Joyner at http://www.morningstarministries.org/.
Rick is not someone that I was aware of.
Perhaps I seen one of his books, but I did not have any knowledge of
him. The subject matter is about dreams
he received regarding an attack from an evil and demonic force working through
a group coming in through our southern borders.
This demonic force is so evil and ruthless that ISIS cannot compare. Rick said that this supernatural evil is from
the pit of hell. As a side bar, El Chapo
Guzman who was the head of a huge drug cartel, exhibited extreme ruthless
behavior. I mention this because of the
high level demonic presence originating in Mexico and other places in the last
days. Their behavior is similar to ISIS
and we have not seen the worst.
I was not open to sharing what I received until I viewed
these two videos from Rick Joyner. His
dream was confirmation of what I received.
I mean, who am I that I should share?
I am nobody special in this world, but I have a responsibility to warn
people what I have received and Rick Joyner deemed it necessary to do the same.
The purpose of this writing is twofold. One is to warn. The second is to answer questions below from
the person who sent me the original email about Rick Joyner: How will you handle it? Walking in the Spirit, prayer,
fasting? Don't want to bother you, but I need to know.
There is only one way to answer
these questions and to understand what we need to combat these evil forces in
the end times. We have to rely on God.
First, we must repent of our sins
and ask God to forgive us each and every day.
We must do everything in our power to obey His commandments, precepts, statutes
and principles.
Developing a high level
relationship with God through His Word. John
1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God. He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that
was made. Without His word, we
cannot possible be equipped to battle the enemy.
We truly have to spend as much of
our free time in His word as possible and it has to be every day. We become more in tune with God, His Son, and
the Holy Spirit when we do so. It is imperative to put aside time consuming
fleshly activities that keep us away from His Word. Reading His word will result in, revelation,
prophesy, wisdom, knowledge, discernment, answers to our questions, and much
more.
Knowing our authority In Jesus
Christ.
Mark 16:17 And these signs will
follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak
with new tongues. Believing this and
applying it is paramount in disarming demonic forces. Colossians
2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of
them, triumphing over them in it.
Knowing where our power comes from. We have authority in
Jesus name. The power comes from the
Holy Spirit just as when Jesus came up from the water. Mark
1:10 And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and
the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. It was after Jesus received the
Holy Spirit that He was able to start His ministry of sharing the Gospel and
performing a multitude of miracles. The
same power we need until His second coming.
Operating the Holy Spirit is vital
to our Christian walk. When we are
walking in the Spirit, we are not walking in the flesh, as they are contrary to
each other (Galatians 5:17 For the flesh
lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are
contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish). How do we operate in the Spirit? We pray always and continuously in the Spirit
throughout the day (Ephesians 6:18 praying
always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this
end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints). We invite the Holy Spirt to be present. We ask the Holy Spirit to indwell in us. We call on the Holy Spirit to help us, for He
is our Helper God sent to us when Jesus went to be with the Father (John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy
Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and
bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you).
Knowing the benefits of prayer and
fasting. This is extremely important and Jesus reminded us that these
extremely demonic entities can only be dealt with by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29 So He said to them, “This kind
can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting”).
Why fast? Stated simply, biblical fasting is refraining from food for a
spiritual purpose. When you eliminate food from you diet for
a number days, you spirit becomes uncluttered by the things of this world and
is amazingly sensitive to the things of God.
Fasting brings one into a deeper, more intimate and powerful
relationship with the Lord.
Jesus speaks about the need for
fasting once he leaves. John 5:35 But the days will come when the
bridegroom will be taken away from them; then they will fast in those days.”
Throughout the Bible there are many
men and women of God who have fasted and the end result was breakthrough. Moses fasted 40 days (Deuteronomy 9:18. Ezra
proclaimed a fast (Ezra 8:21). Children of Israel fasted (Nehemiah 9:1). David
fasted (2 Samuel 1:2, Psalms 35:3, and Psalms 109:24). Ester fasted (Ester
4:16). Anna fasted (Luke 2:37). Married couples should fast (Luke 7:5) Paul
fasted (Luke 9:9). Cornelius fasted (Acts 10:30). Jesus teaches fasting
(Matthew 6:16-18.
To better understand fasting I recommend the
book “Fasting” by Jentezen Franklin.
Unfortunately, the Body of Christ are
not fasting people and the Church does not encourage fasting as a regular part
of their doctrine which is contrary to the Word of God.
To emphasize: Fasting is repeated
referred to throughout Scripture as a sacrificial form of prayer warfare that
produces results available in on other way.
This especially emphasized in the demonic deliverance in Christ’s day Mark
9:14-29. Fasting involves a sacrificial denial of necessary nourishment while
turning one’s attention to seeking God during that denial.
In conclusion, these points are not
inclusive, but what is listed can be a good resource as we engage in the spiritual
battle against evil in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be
counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand
before the Son of Man.”
It is my prayer that we all prepare
wholeheartedly for the coming of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
May God be with you all,
Tony Sanchez
