GOD'S FOUNDATION OF LOVE

God has always been about love and is love.  He created Adam and Eve in the image of Him in love, So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27. He so loved the world that He sent His Only Son to die on the cross so we could receive salvation, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16.

So, why has it been so hard to love one another and to love ourselves?  I am going to put a few things in bullet points and open it up for discussion.

·         From the creation, man chose to be disobedient, but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die Genesis 3:3.  Taking what you know about fallen man in the present, we must consider what led up to their disobedience.

·         After the ten plagues, God had Moses lead His people out of Egypt and performed miracle after miracle in Exodus.  Why then, were they wandering in the desert for forty years? Psalm 106:7-15 gives us answers, Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; They did not remember the multitude of Your mercies, But rebelled by the sea—the Red Sea. 8 Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make His mighty power known. 9 He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up; So He led them through the depths, As through the wilderness. 10 He saved them from the hand of him who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.  11 The waters covered their enemies; There was not one of them left. 12 Then they believed His words; They sang His praise. 13 They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel, 14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tested God in the desert. 15 And He gave them their request, But, sent leanness (lack of trust) into their soul.

·         God chose the people of Israel as His chosen people, for you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth Deuteronomy 7:6. What did God say later in Deuteronomy that shaped a very important love foundation of obedience and disobedience that pertains to our well-being?

How important is God’s love?

·         God’s love is our foundation with Abba Father.

·         His love is the love we must convey to our wife and children.

·         His love is our foundation in loving ourselves so we can love others.

What happens when we disobey God?

·         We become a people of sin as in iniquities (wickedness) and trespasses).

·         We become a people who rely on our own thinking, the thinking of others, and the world (flesh).

·         As believers, we compromise the Word of God as in false doctrine.

·         We insert our interpretation and before we know it, we become like Israel wandering in the desert.

How important is God’s love to our Health?

·         Trusting in Him is paramount to our health.  We cannot trust fully in the love from man.

·         One very important question we have to ponder is this:  Has God ever hurt you ………………………….?

·         How many times has man hurt you? Are you able to overcome these hurts?  There is a direct link to emotional and physical sickness and disease in your life and how it ties into how man (including self) has treated you over your lifetime.

·         Our past, especially our relationship with man defines who we are in the present.  It defines our health, soul (mind/thinking and emotions), our relationship with others, self, and God.  Your love is rooted in circumstances and because of the hurts, man has quenched your love and God’s love.

·         We have bought into man’s judgment including self-judgement and not by God’s judgement, Psalm 98:9 For He is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness He shall judge the world, And the peoples with equity (justice according to His law).

·         We have allowed man to steal, kill, and destroy our lives mostly by the things that have come out of their mouths, out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing James 3:10. We have bought into and accepted a lifetime of mankind’s accusations, criticisms, abuses, and the terrorism of our soul.

Conclusion:

Man, and the medical field have made sickness and disease so complicated when in fact, it is very simple.  The medical field mostly treats the symptoms.  God will heal your symptoms caused by sickness and disease.  Just obey Him and His Word and the majority of medical treatments and expenses go away! Sickness and disease prevention is determining what the root cause of sickness and disease and trusting God and His Love to heal you.  Have you every heard of the phrase “cause and effect?”

God gave us two choices in Deuteronomy 28, to obey Him or disobey Him.  What He is saying here is, if you love Him and obey Him, sickness and disease will not be such a big issue in our lives.  He gives us the choice.

Our goal each and every day is developing a strong over the top relationship with God, to love Him with our heart, soul, strength (Deuteronomy 7:5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength), to trust in Him (Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold, Psalm 7:1 O Lord my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; And deliver me), and to submit to Him (James 4:7 Therefore submit to God).  We are to hate evil so our soul is not afflicted by the wicked, Psalm 97:10 You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

Ezekiel 33:13 When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die.

WHAT CHOICE WILL YOU MAKE GOING FORWARD?

Amen

FEAR - HOW IT AFFECTS YOUR HEALTH

HOW FEAR AFFECTS YOUR HEALTH

Job 3:25 For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me.  And what I dreaded has happened to me.

Job’s problem was he worried into the future and could have benefited by the New Testament verses in Matthew 6:34 that says: “do not worry” and Matthew 6:25 “do not worry about your life”.

How is fear affecting your life and life of your family, friends and others?  Man has known about fear for quite some time.

“Even relatively short periods of stress may cause changes that leave the brain cells hypersensitive for weeks, reports Israeli scientists trying to uncover the molecular root of post-traumatic stress disorder.” Washington (Associated Press) September 2001.

“Pregnant women who often feel stressed out could be programming their fetuses’ nervous systems for heightened reactions to stress and a greater lifetime risk of heart attacks, scientists reported over the weekend.” San Diego (USA Today) March 1999.

We all know by now the negative effects of stress, anxiety, alarm, dread, fright, panic, scary, tension, terror trepidation, nervousness, and worry to our bodies. So many words, but it all comes down to one word that describes all these words and that is FEAR!   Angina (throat inflammation), Arrhythmias (alteration of heart beat), asthma (airway obstruction), allergies (immune response to a substance), high blood pressure, irritable bowel syndrome, tension or migraine headaches, strokes, impotence, insomnia, diabetes, prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland), malabsorption (faulty absorption of nutrients), and eczema (skin inflammation) are but few of the many diseases known to be fear related by the medical field.  Doctors are studying this mind/body connection, calling this area of study Psychoneuroimmunology.  The aim is to nail down the latest medical technology to determine the mind/body connection that causes sickness and disease.

What about the spirit?  We are a triune being.  We are spirit.  We have a soul.  We live in a body.  Our SOUL consists of our mind, will, memories, and emotions.  Our SPIRIT consists of our conscience and intuition (knowing right and wrong) and our BODY is the mobile home for our soul and spirit, 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Fears are not psychological defects, but tribulations of the soul as a result of a lifetime of distress, suffering, torment, hurts, pain, attacks, betrayals, and not being loved by others. The holistic approach treats the “whole” patient, but how well do they understand man’s spirit and soul from God’s perspective.

Satan however, understands our packaging quite well.  He has made a study of God’s creation since Adam and Eve.  Satan knows all about our mind/body/soul connection. He knows that we are only sustained in health and sanity to the degree that we match up to the obedience of the living God (Deuteronomy 28:15-68).  Satan knows that by controlling our thoughts, he can control our health.  His goal is to “steal, and to kill and to destroy” (John 10:10).  Satan manipulates human moods, attitudes, feelings, and emotions.

So, if Satan has made a study of man, it’s time for man to start understanding what really makes us tick.  Part of that is discerning exactly how he uses FEAR to break down our bodies.

In order for our bodies to maintain all of its systems, the hypothalamus gland in the brain works to regulate factors so that we remain in a state of homeostasis.  Homeostasis is a self-regulating process which biological systems tend to maintain stability while adjusting to conditions that is optimal for survival.  For instance, our blood pressure should normally be 120/80, our resting heart rate should be around 60-80 beats per minute, and our body temperature should be around 98.6 degrees.  Everything is at a remarkable set point and does not vary much from day to day.  To achieve this homeostasis, the hypothalamus must receive input about the state of the body and make compensatory changes if anything goes out of whack.

The autonomic nervous system regulates the activity of cardiac muscles, smooth muscles (not under voluntary control) and glands.  When a fearful thought triggers the hypothalamus, it signals the autonomic nervous system, which in turn affects our heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, sweating, etc.  The body is in a fight or flight mode (the instinctive physiological response to a threatening situation, which readies one either to resist forcibly or to run away).  This is why our hearts may race, our hands may get sweaty, and our knees might buckle when a test, a bully, or an equally stressful situation confronts us.

There is a time for rest and a time for action.  Fight or flight is normally a short-term response.  But if a stressor is not removed and this fight or flight mechanism is extended beyond its normal time frame, the body will start breaking down.  The medical profession calls this the General Adaptation Syndrome which has three stages (1. alarm stage-burst of energy, 2. resistance stage-the body attempts to adapt, 3.the exhausting stage-which drains you physically, emotionally, and mentally).

When a person is continually not feeling safe and having fearful thoughts, the body will be in a continuous state of fight or flight leaving no time for rest, recovery, and repair of body and soul.  When the body can no longer maintain its homeostasis, sickness and disease will result.

Yes, doctors will tell you that stress kills, but what do they offer to counter it?  They may prescribe an anti-anxiety drugs, suggest stress management courses, or exercise.  New agers and even Christians may look towards yoga, biofeedback, meditating, self-healing, herbs, oils, diet, and whatever man dreams up.

But are they Godly solutions?  Not according to God.  Deuteronomy 28 outlines blessings and curses related to health and God gives us the choice.  The curses in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 are sin and we have a choice to buy into these curses/sin that results in sickness and disease, or we can choose blessings Deuteronomy 28:1-14 and good health.  What is your choice going to be?

God’s wants us to choose not worry to keep us health (Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble).

Fear Symptoms that I have come across or learned about:

Can cause muscles, tendons and ligaments contract or tighten.  Most often, the left leg will be shorter than the right because of fear.  Many times, there will be great pain in the back, neck, and legs and other places.

Can causes blood vessels to be constricted (made narrow) resulting in numerous issues related to poor circulation.  I see many with swelling Dropsy/edema (Luke 14:2).  Many with swollen feet (Nehemiah 9:21) and diseased feet (2 Chronicles 16:12 because of hatred towards self because they do not feel loved of feel worthy).

Can cause the narrowing of upper and lower respiratory track making it difficult to breath.  I found many people with Asthma, a lung disease characterized by airway obstruction, airway inflammation, have issues of abandonment

Can causes the body to be out of alignment and to be contorted.  (bones & intestines).

Can cause migraines, IBS, seizures, panic attacks, heart conditions, blurred vision, itching and skin disorders (Deuteronomy 28:27).

Fear can be passed on through the fetus (generational fear).  Colic in babies can be a result of the mother experiencing trauma (disorder resulting in a mental, emotional, or physical stress/fear) during pregnancy.

Fear can come down the generational line (Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me).  Fear is an iniquity).

Fear can cause diarrhea usually from a person bringing rage and terror or constipation from worrying.

Health Consequences of a Tormented Soul

Greetings,
I am part of a healing ministry and a private ministry where we pray for people with emotional and physical issues.  Many times, we are a last resort for people who are in captivity because of the many negative things that have happened to them in their lifetime.  It can include generation things that were passed down.   I call this torment or assault of the soul (mind and emotions).  What many fail to fully understand is how the tormented soul or physical traumas can result in sickness and disease.
People have gone in for medical treatment and to ministries only to have them treat or pray for the symptoms.  I believe that every sickness and disease has a cause (origin) and effect (symptoms).  Believers and unbelievers alike run to and fro looking for remedies.  Especially, manmade solutions such as oils, diets, exercise, acupuncture, yoga, herbs, and everything under the son.  I am not saying that some of these don’t provide relief, but they don’t bring healing in most cases, if at all.

Tens of thousands of books have been written by believers and unbelievers addressing sickness and disease. Unfortunately, our health is getting worse and nobody has written a book that provides the ultimate way to prevent or heal sickness and disease except for one.  Drum row……The Bible.  Deuteronomy 28 outlines blessings, curses, good or bad health in one chapter.  Deuteronomy 28:15-68 talks about sickness and disease and every sickness and plague not written in the Bible.  God tells us if we choose obey Him, we will experience health.  Just as Adam and Eve was given a choice whether to eat the forbidden fruit, we are given a choice as well in regards to our heath.
I found through the years of reading the Bible that God keeps things very elementary.  He does not want us to be confused, because God is not an author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).  So, I will keep this very simple.

I have created a chart below called the Mind-Body Connection.  It covers a wide spectrum of adversarial attracts against us throughout our lifetime by people and from Satan (I Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour).  It includes physical traumas as well, because physical traumas can severely affect our emotion physical health.
Look at the right side of the chart (or see attached) that lists many of the things that can torment our soul and cause sickness and disease. The simple fact is this: the list on the right can only affect us if we choose to buy into all these things that have tormented our lives.  We choose to be hurt, offended, have un-forgiveness, to be betrayed, to fear, to feel unloved, to have hopelessness/depression, to hate self and others.  We choose to believe in man including self, rather than God.

God will fill the emptiness of feeling unloved in your life.  His perfect love will fill the void that addictions cannot. God will give you peace and comfort that man cannot provide.  He will bless you with good health, but your health is dependent on your choice to obey Him.
It is my prayer that you will be blessed by this piece.  This is a subject that needs to be taught in the Church at the very least.  I encourage you to send this piece to believers and unbelievers alike.

Apologies for the chart.  It did not copy as I would like.

Blessings, Tony Sanchez

Orphan Spirit – The Unloving Spirit

The subject matter is the Orphan Spirit, but the Orphan Spirit and the Unloving Spirit are one and the same.  The Unloving Spirit is from Satan and is opposite of God’s Love.  Satan has done great damage to us all with the Orphan Spirit.
Ever since Adam and Eve were alienated from God the Father in the Garden of Eden, an orphan spirit has permeated the earth, causing untold damage! By “orphan,” I am referring to a sense of rejection, abandonment, loneliness, alienation and isolation.  Isolation because of separation from self, others, and especially God.  Almost immediately after the fall in Eden, the fruit of this orphan spirit resulted in envy and jealousy, culminating in Cain murdering his brother Abel because God the Father didn’t receive Cain’s offering.  To make matters worse, in contemporary society, with the breakup of the family, large numbers of people are not only alienated from God but are brought up without the loving care and security of their biological fathers who are tasked not only to be the spiritual head of the household, but to convey the perfect love of God to their wife and children.  Unfortunately, we have ten, twenty, thirty, and more generations with an unloving spirit going down the line.

I believe all of the emotional, physical and spiritual ills of society can be traced to humans feeling alienated from God and their biological fathers. Orphaned men have a hard time connecting to their spouses, their children, those in spiritual authority and their supervisors, and they have a hard time accepting and loving themselves. There are presently millions of incarcerated men who are acting out lives of violence and rebellion because their earthly fathers abandoned them. There are churches filled with pastors and leaders who use people and destroy relationships because they are driven to succeed, and it’s due to their need for a father’s affirmation—which is a hole too large for ministry success or performance to fill.

The only way to break this Orphan Spirit (Unloving Spirit) is for people to be filled with a sense of the Father’s love for them in Christ, which then enables them to become mature sons who serve God out of knowledge of His undeserved grace instead of trying to earn the Father’s love through performance.  Unfortunately, our lives are punctuated with hurts, betrayals, broken hearts, anger, hatred, offenses, and emotional/ physical traumas making it difficult for one to come out of captivity to feel God’s love or hear from God.
The Orphan Spirit (Unloving Spirit) is perhaps the greatest curse on the earth today. It will take spiritual parents with great spiritual depth and authority to break and reverse this curse to perpetuate a generational blessing. Only when a person is healed of fatherlessness through the love of God is the orphan spirit broken so they can begin the process of entering mature sonship. Sonship is so important that all creation is presently crying out for the manifestation of the mature sons of God (Rom. 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God).

The following 11 traits contrast the orphan spirit from the spirit of sonship:

1. The orphan spirit operates out of insecurity and jealousy.
Those with an orphan spirit are constantly battling envy, jealousy and insecurity, since security originates in a secure relationship with our parents. Those with an orphan spirit are so insecure, they even have a hard time hearing a biological or spiritual father praise them.

The spirit of sonship functions out of love and acceptance.
But those with the spirit of sonship are so secure in the Father’s love and favor that they’re content to serve in any capacity needed because God’s love has given them confidence that they are worthy and special.

2. The orphan spirit is jealous of the success of his brothers.
Those with an orphan spirit are happy when their brother fails because it makes them feel good about themselves.

The mature son is committed to the success of his brothers.
On the other hand, those with the spirit of sonship joyfully commit themselves to serve, celebrate and help their brothers succeed, since they don’t work for human accolades but out of a deep sense of the love and affirmation of Father God.

3. The orphan spirit serves God to earn the Father’s love.
Along these lines, those with an orphan spirit are constantly striving and trying to earn the Father’s love through accomplishment in ministry or career.

The mature son serves God out of a sense of divine acceptance and favor.
Those with a spirit of sonship already know they are accepted in Christ and serve others out of the abundance of this acceptance.

4. The orphan spirit tries to medicate its deep internal alienation through physical stimulation.
Those with an orphan spirit are constantly trying to push down their sense of alienation, loneliness and lack of self-worth through constant work, going from one relationship to the next, physical gratification and a life of narcissism and self-indulgence. However, the more they indulge, the more addicted they become and the larger the hole in their heart becomes because only the love of the Father can fill the deep emotional needs they have.

The mature son walks in the joy and presence of the Lord for comfort.
Those walking in sonship bask in the presence and love of God and practice the joy of the Lord continually as their source of strength because they understand that grounding their security and self-life in anything other than God is like trying to build a house on sinking sand (Matthew 7:24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock).

5. The orphan spirit is driven by the need for success.
Many seek to accomplish great things to satisfy the deep yearning in their hearts for their father’s approval. This results in them being driven to succeed instead of being led by the Spirit. Even many leaders get their churches into huge debt to build huge buildings, driving the people around them because they are blinded by their own innate feelings of inadequacy. They think they can feel good about themselves with great accomplishments.

The Spirit leads the mature son into his calling and mission.
Only those with a strong sense of sonship will allow the Lord to direct them and bring opportunities to them without trying to drum up their own success.  God wants us to submit to His righteousness (Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God).

6. The orphan spirit uses people as objects to fulfill goals. Those with an orphan spirit tend to use people as objects to accomplish their goals. Whenever we objectify people, we manipulate them with words, threats, and anything necessary to have our way and control them.
Mature sons serve people to bless the kingdom.

Mature people who walk in son ship don’t use people; they serve and release people to fulfill their destiny in Christ.
7. The orphan spirit repels children.

Leaders and parents with an orphan spirit are constantly in turmoil, fighting and striving for their own way, which gives their spiritual children the sense that their leader is in competition with them instead of loving them. This results in repelling spiritual and biological children, which can forfeit influence over the next generation!
The spirit of sonship attracts children.

Those who walk in son ship walk in the Father’s anointing and draw children toward them because their children hear the voice of a shepherd who cares for them.

8. The orphan spirit has anger and fits of rage.
Those with an orphan spirit have issues with uncontrollable anger, fits of rage and other forms of manipulation because they feel they must control others and their circumstances in order to fulfill their goals.  In most cases, anger has become so much a part of them, it becomes normal to them. This is because they lack the trust necessary in their heavenly Father to guide and control their actions and future.

The spirit of sonship rests in the Father’s ability to control and guide the future.
Those walking in son ship walk in the Father’s rest and have ceased from their own works so the Father can have His  way in their lives.

9. The orphan spirit is always in competition with others.

Those with an orphan spirit are always trying to outdo others in their church, family, friends, or business because they receive their identity through being better than everyone else. To them, it’s always about winning.

The spirit of son ship is always blessing others.
Those who walk in sonship are constantly seeing how they can bless others, since they already have the affirmation of God in their souls. They want to freely share His love with others.

10. The orphan spirit lacks self-esteem.
Those with an orphan spirit have a hard time loving and accepting themselves.

The spirit of sonship walks in the love and acceptance of Father God.
Those walking in son ship are filled with a sense of divine love and acceptance that enables them to walk confidently in te joy of the Lord in spite of the fact that all humans are sinners and fall short of the glory of God.

11. The orphan spirit receives its primary identity through material possessions, physical appearance and activities.
Those with an orphan spirit never have enough career success, material possessions, pleasure or illicit relationships to satisfy the hole in their heart related to their identity. Consequently, they are constantly striving to gain satisfaction through the use of various things or people in their lives. In many cases, even their form of dress—including an inordinate number of tattoos, skin piercings and hairdos—can be their way of standing out as unique in a cry for attention due to a lack of self-esteem and fatherly affirmation.

The spirit of sonship is grounded in son ship and the Father’s affirmation.
Those who walk in sonship are so grounded in their divine Father’s affirmation that they can be satisfied serving in the background and can celebrate the success and attention others receive. The void in their soul has already been filled with the unconditional love of the Father.

In conclusion, the greatest gift known to humankind is to accept, receive and walk in the love of the Father, who so loved the world that He gave His ONLY Son so that we may not perish or waste our lives away but experience the abundant life that only our divine Father can give.
The Orphan Spirit (Unloving Spirit) is the single most challenging issue facing all of mankind going back to Adam and Eve when they ate the forbidding fruit.  If we had maintained God’s perfect love since the beginning of man, we would not have committed the inequities throughout the generations.  The inequities that continue to keep us in captivity.

Blessings,
Tony Sanchez,
